So Trinidad and Tobago is going to Germany. I am really happy about that!!

I wasnt a huge supported I must admit. My mind wasnt on football. Work was consuming me. Crime was on my mind. Like I cared whether they made it to Germnay. How does that change things here in Trinidad?

Then I was watching the game in the School Hall yesterday with the boys. First of all, the atmosphere was great. We did waves, the boys made up chants. They went mad when the goal was scored.

Then the light bulb went off in my head. Almost everyone in the country is watching this game. Those guys are playing on that field for all of us here in Trinidad and Tobago, and then, pride and support just started to well up inside me.

The country has such a different feel. I like it and I hope it lasts.
